1 Peter 5:6-11
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
I love this verse because whenever I worry, I can rest on this verse and know that God is there for me to lay all of my worries and my thoughts upon Him. I am so lucky to have Him as my Lord and Savior because He has made me whole. Whenever I have gone astray, He has taken me back and still loves me unconditionally. Ever since I have re-established a relationship with Him, my life has been a lot better. I have been happier and I have felt better and stronger and I have felt like I have become a better person because of His love. I feel that I don't need to judge or talk poorly about people as often as I used to. That such a wonderful and refreshing feeling to have. Thank you Lord. For EVERYTHING.
